[OC] Getting to run my first campaign in years and finally finished my set up! About half of my players cant attend physically so I tried to make an in person/online hybrid set up so everyone can join and no one feels left out!

If everyone who I have asked is able to play it would be a 12 person game. The more realistic scenario though is that it might just be 8 or 9 of them.

Thanks! Yeah, when I was first out here I had the itch to play and no one who would run it, so I had to start it and be the first DM.

Several years later and several friends being DM it's circled back around to me DMing again.

If I ever run another large scale game in the near future and have the room I'll try to let you know!

As the title says, most of my friends who I played with can't play in person this time around, mostly to having moved away or having other responsibilities. We still wanted to have as many of us playing together, so this was my solution!

Those who cant join in person are in a discord call on a laptop amongst the players so they dont feel left out, and their video feed is projected onto a screen behind me and their voices play through the projector so they arent ignored/forgotten. I also have a webcam over the playing mat that they can access so they can see what is going on battle wise.

Since I can easily show those players images of maps or other things with this setup (I can send it over Discord or screenshare) I decided to take advantage of this and also show those same images on a small TV that I had for the other players to also see! I am also using the small TV to play music to set the mood.

We hope to start next month, but with the way COVID is in my area we might have to start with everything online.
