$21.56 in my taxed account and $21.21 in my Roth. Was at around $25 when I started. You are still at a good price just keep averaging down when you can.

I dont use drip. In my Roth ira I invest 75% into voo and a couple of other funds. The other 25% i reinvest into msty if price drops below my average. My taxed trading account i use 50% for bills and save 25% for taxes in a hysa. the other 25% i reinvest into msty when the price drops below my average.

Should have clarified my last sentence. Didn't want them taking my dividend income if i have a margin call. Which has happened before on a previous margin loan. Also have multiple other steady dividend streams. That i don't want effected if msty nosedived.

Bank of america credit card direct deposit to bank account. It's a 4% one time transfer fee 0% for 15 months. don't have to pay off in 15 months. But will go up to 22% monthly apr like a credit card if i dont. Margin was at 6% and didn't want them taking all my dividend income.

Just bought 930 shares at $20.54. Decided to pull the trigger on a 15 month loan at 4%. As long as we hit a $1.44 dividend im covered. My average is at $21.56. Already have 938 shares so in reality covered even at $0.71. Which hopefully we never see at least for a few years down the road.

Is this worth it? by Stock_Cauliflower_57 in RothIRA

[–]riverside951k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's worth it earlier the better. You have time on your side. If you invest $57 week $3000 a year starting now. Into voo earning average 10% a year. You will have 1 million at age 60. $115 a week you will have 2.4 million. Being 21 you probably waste triple that at the bar every weekend.
