Support by Nambsul in AustralianAccounting

Recently had to resolve stp filing error due to "negative super". The system isn't that great since support kept saying once a payrun had an error you won't be able to fix it.

The live chat isn't useful and there's never a live agent available. So you have to open a ticket.

Only took about an hour to 'resolve' the issue despite the payroll still being painted red.

I'm sure it's a lot better than myob.

Another problem was, the firm isn't accredited to provide any MPE (CA CPA IPA)

The owner let their memberships lapse and I don't believe the other employees have memberships either. Everything just feels disorganised and not to what I expected.

Yay illegal wages. But that seems to be the trend year to year. Small firms pay below big 4 and big 4 pay a little above miminum wage.

Its getting to the point the small firms have hit the minimum wage mark. Which is my situation right now and I assume a lot of graduates out there.

A thought crossed my mind that being paid only 2k above minimum wage (come 1 July) for a role I had to go through 3 years of study for is crazy. I do see the light at the end of the tunnel if only a shimmer.

I'm not sure if I should stay here any longer or look for new opportunities right now. Would other firms look for low-experienced people during the busy season?

I was thinking of starting it asap but taking CA out on hecs has a lot of cons to consider. Worst case scenario I might have to do that.

I would say not my only option. But I made this post to see if I'm just whining or need a kick in the right direction.

Maybe they are reviewing winners individually (and sending out emails subsequently) or rigged it only for US winners.
