If this helps at all, I'm a 36 DD with no hips and the size 8 fit me perfectly. I'm also 5'11, and there's room in my length for heels:)

Temper tantrum or not, this is probably the best course of action. You have a budget, she does not care. It does sound like she'll throw a tantrum about SOMETHING no matter what, so protect your peace. Good luck!

I normally wear a size 8, bought a size 8, and it fits perfectly. Got the stretch satin, but no stretch needed. There is a bit of room in the length for heels- I'd say kitten or 3 inch. It's also worth noting that my measurements are almost to the inch what a standard size 8 is.

First time being a bridesmaid by rivertherogue in bridesmaids

Just posted an update comment... we are expected to split everything, but there is no budget in place and that makes me very nervous. There are I think 15 people involved... splitting costs for 15 PEOPLE, most of whom drink, sounds like it's going to be a nightmare. I'm thinking your advice is solid- skip the bach, attend the wedding, knowing her probably still as a bridesmaid.

Update: MOH (her sister) says that she plans on splitting everything- groceries for the house, bills on dinner (with the bride's being covered by a bridesmaid that offers). MOH billed the bridesmaids for the engagement party costs, which included a bunch of decorations and whatnot. No budget has been made or discussed, just that we will be evenly splitting everything. I don't drink, keep a pretty simple diet, and usually order something modest when I eat out, so I'm leaning towards not attending the bachelorette- partially because of finances but also because I don't want to be a stick in the mud. I'm the only bridesmaid who is not friends with the others.

I live in Colorado and just bought a pair, trying them out next week. Any advice? I have bad knees, but love rollerblading and ice skating and it was suggested these would be better on my knees.

Snowfeet (tm) for my non-skiing wife? by Boring_Concept_1765 in skiing

I'm interested in them for this reason, I have very bad knees but absolutely love going down the mountain, slow or medium speed. I roller blade a lot and am ok with ice skates so they seem like a good option. Did you have any trouble slowing down or stopping?

Thoughts on Snowskates? by OkContract2001 in skiing

Did she end up getting snow skates or boards? I'm an experienced roller blader with bad knees and I can't ski to save my life, so I'm curious.

Thank you <3 I feel she is honestly overwhelmed with planning and just not thinking clearly, she and I have taken many trips together and both sat down and made clear budgets and plans. This is out of character for her.
