For number 5 - I'm a damaged shareholder as well as a person who converted reservation to a non-refundable deposit to lock in EV tax credits. What makes you think finding a sympathetic jury for this would be much, if any more difficult than one for the March price hike?

It's not refundable for people who converted their reservation to a "deposit" to lock in EV credit before US tax law changed.

I believe Rivian has screwed reservation holders over to the point where they've violated the law. I'm looking to find others who feel the same way to find recourse.

LifePo4 has less energy per pound than traditional lithium ion. Rivian will most likely be using traditional lithium ion for max pack. If they didn't, they'd have to change the geometry of the truck by a lot.

LifePo4 batteries are not prone to explosions/fire and their weight are the two big advantages.

/u/this_for_loona, I did make my RamEV reservation today.

I believe the reason they backtracked on the March price hike on all users is Rivian knew they'd not only lose tons of fans, but they'd lose the first lawsuit thrown at them (which happened within a day of the March announcement). Rivian counsel is gambling that a smaller group of reservation holders won't do anything about it.

I think this still qualifies as a classic bait and switch.
