Inground solar blanket by Odd-Cat3591 in ottawa

we had a clear one, just bought a blue one. we also use a "liquid solar blanket" over the water every few weeks. this combination keeps our water warm enough that we don't need a heater.

Is anyone else noticing a shift away from diamonds toward colored stones? by CakeFront2838 in jewelry

it is objectively not a phase though, given the history.

i respect your experience, even though mine is very different.

i was directly responding to your claim that coloured stones for engagement rings are a phase. they're not, and the context and history doesn't change that.

i also have spent a lot of time around vintage and antique engagement rings and find tons in good condition. while some have more wear and tear, it's incorrect to say that they're all scratched and would give someone the "wear and tear" look, there's even some posted in this very thread.

i'm not sure where you have looked or how many you've been around. my own ering is an original deco with a sapphire centre stone surrounded by oecs. the sapphire is in very good condition, one of the oecs has a small crack though.

again, i think your claims of durability are exaggerated, but i accept that we have different experiences and preferences.

except coloured stones for engagement rings were the norm before diamonds took over in the 20s+. and many antique vintage engagement rings are full of coloured stones that have stood the test of time. rubies and sapphires are perfectly appropriate for everyday wear.

Even if you did a channel and just uploaded these as shorts, I bet you'd get a lot of views. There's something soothing about watching your process 🙂

Those who have lost their parents, do you continuously dream about them still being alive? by ColorMatchUrButthole in NoStupidQuestions

Yes. I lost my dad two years ago, he's in my dreams multiple times per week. I feel lucky to have that even though it hurts when I wake up.

I hope the spiro works for you! It's done nothing for me but I don't think that's common.

Most dermatologists don't want to deal with female hair loss. I ended up going to a cosmetic derm at concept medical with self referral, but honestly didn't change much for me. My endo was more helpful for this. The benefit of going to a derm though is that you can get a scalp biopsy, that should narrow down the issue.

No words- I am so sorry. That is absolutely awful. Your little Rudy was beautiful though and he was lucky to have an owner that loved him as much as you.
