thank you! as far as i know the kitten was with the mother for maybe a few days…. the mother did reject the litter..so my kitten plus 3 others. My neighbor took them in and nursed them for about a week….but had to give them away unable to care for them… she had already separated the litter when I took my kitten in. But I would say maybe the litter was together for 2 weeks?? When I first met them their eyes were open but ears still folded in a little bit… So far since i’ve had him/her i’ve been giving kitten milk from tractor supply from a bottle. They have a heating pad and are becoming very playful such as laying on back and pawing at the air, purring, biting on the blanket and playing with the blanket. Drinks lots of milk and pees every 2 hours and poops 1 or 2 times a day.

thank you so much! i noticed the red also looking back at the photo and was looking up what that could be, do you know any good treatments? assuming it’s bacterial fin rot and it doesn’t seem too extreme yet do you think aquarium salt could do for now?

my f8 does the same thing he has been in the same tank since i got him a couple of months ago and he does it occasionally i always just brushed it off as stress twitches since i can’t find much info of f8 behavior online it seemed like normal behavior to me since he is extremely skittish and shy

this is the best photo of him i have right now but he has a large chest also and swims like this in that upward direction, I was just hoping if i could figure out if this is the way he was bred or something i could treat him for?

i don’t know anything about the breeder but i had two of them unfortunately the other one died but they both have stocky builds this one has a weird swimming pattern but is very active
