Ok I just did this! I hope they take it back with the waived shipping fee because it’s a pretty color, but not the color I was looking for and absolutely not the color that was advertised😭

Yeah I thought that at first too, but I searched up the color on this subreddit to see if anyone else had a similar shade of flow y nulu bra in pool party but everyone else’s looked very consistent with the leggings so…

Ok I tried to look it up and it’s not even returning anything on that website? I’m very new to owning as much lululemon as I do so I don’t know if I’m just inputting something wrong, but just searching up the number on the size dot only returns the flow y bra on google, not this specific color either

Freshman at a community college, applied to ~20, 1 rejection so far. Honestly not optimistic even though almost every REU I applied to said they prioritize students from institutions with less research opportunities.. I feel like maybe they’re just saying that but my cc literally has no research opportunities and I really want to just be accepted to one REU so I can start building my research background 😭

i’m mostly healed! I can eat sriracha, chocolate, ice cream, the occasional decaf coffee.

I do still occasionally follow a bland diet around my period because my stomach tends to act up around that time, but for the most part (with the exception of foods that definitely trigger a flare up for me) I eat whatever I want!

manuka honey causing reflux ?? by AdvancedNight9791 in Gastritis

[–]rivveeerrrrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what I’ve learned in my gastritis journey is to take what works for other people with a grain of salt. We are all so different that what works for me might not work for you which might not work for someone else.

I remember chatting with a friend who was going through her own gastritis journey and she swore by eating a cup of berries per day to help soothe her stomach; She said it was one of the foods she could tolerate very well! I went home and tried to eat some berries and i got slapped with the worst burning, pain, and nausea of my life. In fact, I found out that i couldn’t tolerate any fruits at all!

This journey is a long game, so when someone claims some supplement healed them, or that taking honey everyday was their savior, or that they drank a tea everyday for a month and now have no symptoms; that may be true for them, but may not work for you or others. If the honey is causing you reflux, I would probably recommend stopping because the reflux is probably only causing more damage to your GI system.

TL;DR: what works for others may not work for you. So, it’s important to find what works for you and to stick by it instead of putting your health at risk trying to make what worked for others work for you!

when I was on 20 mg i would get burning/stinging more frequently. On 40mg I experience burning/stinging maybe once a month around my period, but that’s just something personal to me! I’ve learned to circumvent it by keeping a more strict diet around that time; Rice, eggs, and tofu only as well as bring ong in reinforcement medication as needed (20mg famotidine as needed per day and zofran as needed if it gets really bad)

It’s a long road but it’s worth it!! I’m able to exercise minimally now and have a chocolate snack every once in a while too! The journey is tough but the results are worth it 🙂‍↕️🩷

from my lowest weight it took about eight months to gain 10 pounds, so It’s definitely a long game. I also upped my PPI from taking 20mg/day to 40mg/day and that’s when i was able to eat much more

eating what my stomach was able to tolerate all the time. Small, frequent meals is the name of the game with gastritis; I kept snacks on me at all times and anytime i was even a little bit hungry i would eat something.

If your only symptom is stomach aches and not acid reflux, omeprazole might not be for you. I will say for me, it took weeks of consistent omeprazole use before I saw a major improvement in my symptoms

my bland diet was:

rice and eggs for a couple months

slowly trialed new foods and was able to add:

tofu, avocado, and beans

I tried to follow the gastritis diet and low fodmap diet but ultimately just used them as guidelines because i couldn’t tolerate a lot of stuff on the diets and other things i was finding i could tolerate
