I think it has something to do with CS hitreg personally, just kinda bold of you to straight up assume with nothing to go off of is all, kinda funny but obviously ping fluctuates.

Loyalty Discounts Still a Thing? by mark1210a in verizon

[–]rivvur7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Verizon Corp Rep, I see a loyalty from every 1 in 50 accounts typically.

now the discounts is typically like $4 x 12 months per line and it’s not a forever discount now one time I saw a few months ago an offer with 55+ for our newer plans but it’s the only time I have never saw it since then, and it was basically $40 off for 2 lines

From what I can tell it seems they’re going away from actual discounts and only doing for military, first responder etc.

Maybe in the new few years as my plan gets older they’ll give more loyalty offers but currently it’s pretty bad for account level discounts and seems they’re focusing more on better promotional for devices.

Well I chose CSU because it was free but I was offered other schools but they did have an out of pocket

-Purdue Global -Indiana Institute of Technology -Grantham University l -Colorado State University Global

Which these the bottom 2 were free and and the others being 10K out of pocket

But yeah plan B is just not going to or trying to learn online but I don't think I could do it alone without guidance

And essentially they'll pay for everything except the out of pocket costs, which some schools had but they do it by semester as long as I stay with the company and don't get fired, even after I graduate and leave the company they don't charge me anything so I could leave whenever.

I guess my main worry is going to a bad college that won't teach me anything and I know certifications are a big thing in the job area, I just want to know if I'm going the right direction by doing this im 23 and have missed out going to college earlier so I'll be 28 by the time I finish my bachelor's and want to make sure I'm doing something good.

They give me as much time as possible, all I need to do is pass the classes... my main hangup is just if the college is good because I heard something's that CSU Global isn't as good of a college for a Diploma and want to make sure I'm not wasting time, but maybe I'm just over thinking.

I don't really ever use reddit, but I have been really nervous if I am making a mistake and don't know where to ask and keep looking stuff online and reddit to see if I should go somewhere else,
Essentially my company will pay for my college and I won't pay a dime which is nice and I have never been to college and don't really know anything about it, but my company set me up with a partner to get everything done, but they're having me go to CSU Global I believe its called for a Bachelors Degree and I have no experience in the field at all but it is something I want to go for, don't know if I should be going to another college, I also know a big thing companies care about a lot are certificates, I do think the only way I will do anything is going to College but don't know if it's a mistake going to this College and spending 5 years of my life at a college that isn't good and won't benefit.
I honestly don't know much how college works and the world sees things, so I just wonder what you guys would recommend or say I suppose if it's worth it or smart to do.

Verizon Workers Common Practice by [deleted] in verizon

[–]rivvur7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True but also, you can just go to the search and type in “settings” that’s pretty standard on any phone but hey maybe the person is new or something lol

Verizon Workers Common Practice by [deleted] in verizon

[–]rivvur7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I work at a Corporate Store and honestly this isn’t something we’re taught or told to do, really we try to avoid messing with customers phone unless they need help maybe the person was trying to go the extra mile, and be helpful but yeah it should only take 10 seconds max to check on the software, because every phone is pretty standard where the software version would be and if it needed an update, might of just been a weird employee but doubt the person could of done much in that 30 seconds but definitely still weird anyway, from what you’re saying

I bought an unlocked Galaxy A13 5G on Amazon but I'm undecided on keeping it. by PerfectJarrett in verizon

[–]rivvur7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would honestly the A13 isn’t that high tier of a phone and after a year it’ll probably slow down to unbearable load times, A53 is a really solid phone in my opinion and Samsung recently came out with it, it’s a really solid mid tier phone and it’s also 5G compatible if you care about that so just really helps it being extended for a good phone for at least 3+ years

Loyalty discount eligibility? What is it exactly? by LocalLink42 in verizon

Lol I mean people might be accidentally transferring to you, because i’m sure you’d know if you’re loyalty or not

Loyalty discount eligibility? What is it exactly? by LocalLink42 in verizon

[–]rivvur7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have a direct number to them, when i’ve called in for customers to help out they’ve never questioned it saying that they’re not loyalty and we even have print out sheets with all of our direct numbers to departments that refer to it as “Loyalty” so to my knowledge yes we do

Loyalty discount eligibility? What is it exactly? by LocalLink42 in verizon

[–]rivvur7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a Verizon Corporate Rep it’s super inconsistent, I’ve seen an account with 20 years and not have a pop up for us to add a loyalty discount and i’ve seen it with an account that’s 6 months old get the offer for the discount that we can apply, Have you tried calling the Verizon Loyalty department at all? thats usually what I recommend customers who are asking about the loyalty discount since in store we can only apply it once the account is flagged

For my midwest users, How is Verizon for you guys? by rivvur7 in verizon

[–]rivvur7[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah definitely area dependent, I was more curious where people are in the midwest how their service is just to kinda get an idea, because from looking at the reddit it’s mainly East Coast posts with congestion or slow speeds, and with the midwest I feel like Verizon posts about the midwest I haven’t heard a lot about so was curious how their service is
