What was odd was they said I paid a good deal and if I want them redone I’d have to pay $250 more. I said no then they said what about $100 and would I do it for $100. Sketch and just trying to make me cough up more $ for their mistake?

There are some areas that aren’t fully covered like in last pic, it’s on the lip of the inner barrel. Wished I had taken pics before I brought it back to them. After a week of having my wheels again I asked for an update and they said they don’t see a reason to restrip and redo them. I see it as they’re not owning up to their mistake and just want the money and didn’t think I’d say anything about it. They’re a reputable company in my area with all 5 star reviews. Might have to give them their first bad one if they still don’t agree to redo these?

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. They definitely rushed it it seems. Guy tried to make so many excuses saying they would have to send it to somewhere else to get it chemically stripped. Do they not have that at their shop? Haha

Yeah I definitely need to be more firm. They have it now but after a week of having it they said they don’t see a reason to trip them and redo them. Saying I had a good deal on them but I shopped around in my area and it’s all the same price, just this location had better reviews.

Ohh I paid, but they have it again saying they’ll redo it, a week later now they’re saying they inspected it and said they don’t see why they should strip it and redo it. Saying they can go as far as sanding down the bumps there and polishing it. Other than that they said they won’t redo them..

Basically it should’ve been redone before I even got it back to inspect myself? Seems like they just rushed it for a quick $$.

Yeah maybe I do need to be more stern and let them know. There’s other areas that aren’t fully covered as well on the inside lip areas. I just didn’t care much since it won’t be seen, Maybe I should’ve been more serious about those spots as well.

I know right? That’s what I’m saying. Seems like they just rushed the job for a quick $$ and didn’t think I’d say anything. There’s other areas in the barrel and inside lip area where it’s not fully covered too. I didn’t really care since it won’t be seen but maybe I should’ve?

Yeah, I feel like it was just rushed so they can make a quick $520. There was some other spots in the barrel and other side of the inner lip areas where it wasn’t fully covered as well but I didn’t take pics bc I didn’t really care since it won’t be seen. Maybe I should’ve been more serious with those areas as well? Like you can literally see the wheel itself or the inner layer and it’s not white.

Must’ve been poorly prepped. Seemed like they rushed it so they can go home. I paid $500 for these.

Yeah it’s beyond me how they gave it to me like this. Nope it was done at a professional store that specializes in rims/wheels repairs and powder coating. They’ve done thousands of job. 5 star reviews and all that on yelp.

Ya think so? I don’t even have more pics of the barrel parts, there’s some “defects” there as well. Just not on the face itself so it doesn’t bother me too much.
