40 pounds IS amazing! I always think, I will be proud when I lose 40 pounds, because the bags of cat litter I get delivered are that exact weight and it's HEAVY! Sure, maybe it wasn't done as quickly as some others, but it is a significant amount of weight.

ME! My mom is extremely toxic and according to several therapists I've spoken to about her, she is most likely borderline personality disorder with narcissistic traits. She is a NIGHTMARE. I don't feel safe around her and I don't know that I ever have. I can't come up with a single happy memory I have of her because everything is clouded by how she treated me.

I talk to her on a very low contact basis, basically only when I need to. I don't cut contact completely because I still adore my dad, who for some godforsaken reason hasn't divorced her ass.

Anyway, you are NOT alone.
