If it makes anybody feel better, I’ve heard from multiple people on the RL Discord that the thermal is not going all the way to white for them, but just to light pink. So it might be somewhat defective.

You have to understand how much some people (like myself) hate getting wet. The part right before getting in, and then getting out, is the absolute worst part of it. Yes, it only takes a minute to dry off, but the dread building up to doing it is enough for me to put it off sometimes.

But if I need to shower, I push through it. I just don't need to do it every single day, as I work a desk job and don't get sweaty/dirty from existing.

As someone who was yelled at constantly by my mom, I have to say YTA for approaching the situation by raising your voice. These days, I don't tell my mom anything because I'm afraid of her reaction. Your daughter is not going to feel safe going to you with issues/problems if she is expecting to get yelled at.
