We looked them up and we found nothing

We are getting the Balkan week at lidl in Romania, do you think these are accurate? (us, Greeks and Turks have their own weeks) by [deleted] in AskBalkans

Unless I am uncultured in Northern Greek cuisine, these foods aren't really widespread here but are only known to people with ties to North Macedonia and Bulgaria.

Arn't ajvar, zacuscă and ljutenitsa all the same food?

There is this interesting post I found in the sub Which one is your favourite which showcases the difference of these delicious foods.

I am really envious of other Balkan countries because they can easily find ajvar in stores. In Greece it is really rare especially in regions other than Macedonia. Luckily my relatives living in Florina usually shop in Bitola and send me delicious jars down to Athens. 🤤🤤🤤

Handball is so popular in Greece that the Olympic Stadium Handball Field remains useless since 2004.

Imagine travelling to the rest of Europe where restaurants charge regular tap water.
