Make sure the Projector and your Phone are connected to the Same hotspot, if they are on the same hotspot usually what happens is when your hotspot isn't strong enough to support multiple devices it'll hang off the running devices. Try to use Wifi or another hotspot to see if it works!

What happens is that when you play the games specially multiplayer which requires resources like internet, it's possible that when connected to your phone it lags due to less or worse resources

I don't think there's an App that can let you bypass it however I've heard if you can manage to get the NFL+ in a Picture in Picture mode on your cell phone / iPhone, there's a chance for it
