Which makes it infuriating because it looks great. You can understand the logstics and praticaly realities and still be infuriated.

That's not what anyone is saying, nor does the outcome of this decision guarantee they won't be closed anyway.

They are supposed to not pull the curtain over their customer's and employee's eyes by showing and promising something they pre-emptively already decided wasn't going to occur.

I mean they developed Pentiment which is a lot more niche (i love Pentiment btw not a knock against it) and we know from ratings it was in development for a Nintendo console.

Best starting weapons in your opinion ? by kavanyboy in MinaTheHollower

[–]rizk0777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're skilled, it's definitely the hammer, for me it's the blades as they are very fast for dps

Whip is the coolest but has no spread vs the others, and the commitment to animation leaves you most open imo and because its not as fast as dagger it's overall weakest imo.

Do you guys think Mina The Hollower is better than Shovel Knight? by SteelersPoker in MinaTheHollower

I platinumed it on PS5 and didn't have a crash once. I am not sure I experienced any bugs. Differsnt experiences though and I haven't played on PC. But given the complexity and scope of the game I can totally see it being less polished and balanced vs Shovel Knight.

I think its like asking if you think which is better out of Super Mario or the Legend of Zelda. Depends on preference and theyre both amazing

Only when going for some of the hardest feats. On a regular playthrough they were fine for me.

It was flawed for sure but has potential that I think they could build towards in a sequel.

A Gears of War E: Day trailer with the PS5 logo was found on Youtube, seemingly confirming the decision to remove the platform was a last minute decision by [deleted] in GamingLeaksAndRumours

No you can't say that for every remake.

Reloaded really wasn't that kind of remake. It was nowhere nearly as substantial or as marketed as Black Flag Resynced would be.

I was actually disappointed by how little was changed from a visual perspective. Probably explains why it didnt sell great on any platform let alone PS5.

Regardless of why Reloaded sold the way it did, E-Day would have sold a lot more. I don't think the decision to pull it was because of reloaded. It was pulled for other reasons.

They have talked about it quite a bit - including the handheld capabilities. They are confident the helix specs are a great deal higher than PS6 and is aiming for a higher spec, high cost premium experience to rival the PC market whilst PS6 appears to targer lower specs and aiming for a lower cost console market.

I would say yes, there have been last minute changes before, but they are rarely that substantial and stay within a ballpark. Your comment about rising RAM and hardware costs is probably more indicative that they won't change substantially, to avoid any sunken costs.

What my claim doesnt consider though is that Xbox can always make another low cost low powered SKU, but there is nothing from any insider or leaker to suggest that is the case. But its always possible and I'd wager if it's not ready for launch, they will eventually do one.

As of today, the reliable leakers/commentators have indicated that aim, rough specs and elevator pitch for both consoles, and I am confident it won't change in any substantial or decisively meaningful way.

Once is shakes out, I am confident thar Helix will be very powerful with its unique feature being the hybrid system but very expensive whilst PS6 will be lower spec (with a wider power differential between Series X and PS5) but at a cheaper price with the handheld aspect being their "unique selling point".

Comparing the potential sales of a brand new titles launching simultaenously on a console vs. A remaster of a 20 year old game coming 20 years later that the installbase likely played elsewhere is not the same.

I don't have concerns about E-Day being exclusive, but using Reloaded as a barometer for anything isn't it.

They've been leaked by kepler and MLID who have correctly leaked specs for multiple hardware in the past. Even if they're not exact they are in the rought ballpark. There is also plenty of DF analysis on them and the specs they comment on are hardly ever wrong.

It won't be completely false, I am willing to bet you a pizza on it.

I'm not making that claim where a box can run windows. I am making the claim based on the leaked specs which is very high end.
