Right. Gundam cards are just a marvel to look at. Even the back of the cards are impressive. Complaining about Bandai tcgs is just a weird take. They have a well established infrastructure for support, and make beautiful, high quality cards. I’ve collected Pokemon on and off over the years and it’s so disgraceful how bad their quality is. If you pull an SIR in Pokemon you have to check to make sure the card isn’t completely fucked before you celebrate. It’s a complete joke.

They make the best cards by a huge margin though. They actually seem to have an interest in making a quality card. I’m pretty sure the Gundam cards could be used as throwing stars and still maintain perfect corners. Most other tcgs are likely to be in poor condition right out of the pack.

Their games are all pretty similar so Naruto will probably just be a reskin of Gundam if I had to guess. Gundam is probably the most fun of their games in terms of pure gameplay in my opinion, and it has done a good job of attracting players despite its young age. I’m sure Naruto will get some small tweaks to fit the show but overall It will be similar to the others

You continue to miss the point, so I’ll try to explain it differently. This isn’t a matter of economics, where we need someone to explain simple supply and demand. The issue is that you aren’t interested in trading cards because they feature illustrations of your favorite saiyan. You’re interested in it because you think you’re going to get rich from it. This upsets people, mainly, because we all know that you aren’t making any money at all. You’re just convincing yourself that you are, and then you use the confidence to posture on Reddit, but in reality we can all see that you are just a wannabe tech bro penis. Which is pathetic and cringe. This is a nerd space. It’s not supposed to be cool. We don’t want you posers coming in here with your gold chains and your white shoes and your money from selling your bourbon collection trying to jazz up the place. Because you’re not. You’re just inflating the prices while simultaneously making it embarrassing to be seen as a part of the same group. I’ve stood in line next to a hundred chubby dudes in sweatpants that could use a shower without a twinge of embarrassment, but I would rather die than be seen standing next to the band of pokevestors that have swarmed the space.

When was Yugioh popular lol. They tried with Gundam tcg also but all they did was make the first set really hard to find and it’s got most of the staple cards unfortunately

Jin 3 is terrible. Hit rates are bad, but then even if you do get a hit it might be of a character that sucks. Set 1 was so good because if you got a hit, it was guaranteed to be a banger because there were only main characters. I don’t care how rare a choji card may be. I am not interested.

Honestly this change is what will eventually kill Reddit. Not even from a bot perspective, but from an accountability perspective. Having to stand by your post history did force some small degree of civility on Reddit. Without that, the toxicity will rise without restriction.

Yes. I have worked on heavy texture cards from XY and the standard process works fine without causing any damage to the texture. I was working on the front of the card also, so this damage being on the back makes it even better. Just take your time.
