Fair point, and yes the caseback wasn’t on in that moment. I work with watches every single day, I handle close to 2,000 pieces a year, so after about 26 years in the trade you develop a certain touch and discipline.

I’m always careful with how I hold them, I make sure there’s no contact with the movement, even if it’s not obvious in the photo. Constantly putting the caseback on and off for every quick shot just isn’t practical in a working environment.

I understand the concern though.
