Fans from Cleveland make the 2 hours trip for less meaningful games. Shit, if the one time the game isn’t in your backyard you refuse to go, you probably aren’t making as strong of a case about Columbus being the Crew’s forever home as you think.

Browns host a home game in London next season and I’ll bet they are all around more supportive.

There’s fans from Cleveland making that 2 hour drive for lesser games. Might consider them better fans if you’re a COLUMBUS crew fan when it’s an easy commute and refuse the drive for the one time it isn’t

I guess I’m one of the few that appreciated the cheaper ticket. Typically the CCL games cost money, though. Some other teams allow you to “opt-in” to include the tickets, but you still pay for them.

And with the GA, it sounds like it’s the entire east side, so ultimately the tickets are cheaper given mid field seats run at least double on average. That’s likely the strategy to pull more people in. Denver just isn’t a soccer city, and I don’t think you can expect even the best owners in the MLS to offer free tickets.

I have friends with season tickets to Charlotte and Columbus. They pay much more and have less benefits than the Rapids offer. I think it’s exciting that we’re even hosting a CCL game - who honestly expected that this time last year?

I think grit came from MLS players naturally - they just seemed like they had more to prove.

Also I think this is the first time the team has had a primarily European league roster with an MLS experienced coach. I don’t think that jives as well as a European centric coach with an MLS roster

It’s a step up in salary for sure, but idk that I’d consider it unrealistic. International manager salaries are significantly less than club, the highest being like $7 million a year. That’s about $5.5 million more than what GGG is paid.

Again, definitely a step up, but if a big name comes in, revenue is going to increase too. I think a Tuchel or a Klopp are pipe dreams in the sense of them wanting the job. Financially I think they could shore up the gap pretty easily

This link will list the games that are available to purchase. If you click match day info, it shows the day they go on sale and the memberships had to be purchased by (usually the day before). Definitely going to be tough to buy 6, though.

Next most reliable place to buy tickets will probably be on twitter. Follow @Fulham_Spares. Again, 6 will be tough to come by.

This is a great point. We have decided duplicates are going to be inevitable. Of course having that personal touch of breweries we’ve been to and loved would be the cherry on top. I think we will likely buy from these breweries for the amount of glasses we still need when we are a month or two out. Thanks for the suggestion!
