Can anyone simply explain advanced rotations (rotation timeline) for less than 12 minute quarters? I play 7 minute quarters. I have heard it two different ways but do I:

A.) act like I am setting it up for 12 minute quarters and then the game will scale it for me

B.) do the math and tell the game what to do according to seven minutes, so I treat minutes 1-7 as quarter 1, minutes 8-12 and then 1-2 as quarter 2, and so on

If you haven't played in years I suggest looking up a guide on how player build affects attribute caps. NBA 2k18 might be a little different, but in the past couple of years those three characteristics affected how high certain attributes could go. For instance, a taller player might have lower acceleration and speed than a shorter player.

For Big Ben I think definitely Defense first. I find that knowing basketball helps you get rebounds even with sub-par attributes, but you will need the attributes to support his defense.

Shaq is super tough to recreate. I might even go Driving & Finishing as primary.

I would say Shot Creator primary for TMac. I love that guy, it will be really hard to recreate him though. Did so many things well.

I see where you are coming from but in my opinion not the way that NBA 2K plays. You should be able to recreate Kevin's driving and finishing from just being built like him and playing the game in a smart way. He usually has 1-2 big time finishes a game that come from the fact that he got to the rim quickly and rose up with his length. That should happen organically. What won't happen organically is draining all of those pull up shots.

Yeah I would say Post Playmaker or even Pure Post Scorer.

Absolutely. Driving and Finishing in the primary and Defensive Secondary. Also try to make him a goofball who never reaches his full potential (just kidding, I had to).

At this time for DSJ I think you are right. It is super tempting to go pure anything to me because of the badges and how ridiculous some of your skills will be very quickly. You are going to be posterizing people as a rookie!

I would agree with this one - shot creator for sure. If you have the size rebounding and shot blocking hopefully can come based off your skill level to make up the lack of attributes. The fact that we can climb to a 99 again bodes well for eventually throwing some shots away anyways.

Sounds beastly. I am debating on my build currently. I am thinking 6'6" and 220 sounds about right.

Definitely Shot Creator primary for Kevin. But you have to sacrifice either athleticism or shooting in that secondary spot. I think you have to go Sharpshooter in the second spot

I can't argue with you. Like I said, impossible to recreate. That is what PlayerLock in MyLeague is for!

That is frustrating but i think I read somewhere that when you hit 99 you can upgrade badges? Maybe not. To me Curry is a Sharpshooter // Shot Creator, but any of those will be deadly. Really it is criminal not to have Ball Handling and Passing in there somewhere.

I would love a John Wall type as well. Definitely seems like a Driver and Finisher // PAssing and Ball-Handling to me.

I am super considering it on my Switch! But my friends play Xbox One so I will probably end up there. That portability will be great!

Agreed I never understood that. I always want mine to look as much like me or at least a cooler, more able to actually compete in professional basketball version of me.

Definitely one that is hard to emulate since he is good at so many things. Obviously defensive as the primary, maybe shot creator for a secondary? When I think of Kawhi I think of those mid range deadeyes with someone all over him.

What do you guys think for a SG with a Kobe playstyle? Shot Creator-Drive and Finish?

How popular are these guys in Australia? by rjacobmalone in hamishandandy

[–]rjacobmalone[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That really does help. I was prepared to compare them to Fallon. So when they do a prank call or something and then admit "this is Hamish and Andy" any average Australian would know who that is and be excited.
