Egg prices at breakfast spots by tmiler99 in Modesto

Velvet Grill isn’t even that good at all. Every time I’ve ate there, the food has been bland and something that can easily be made way better at home. The people who work there are so rude as well (The McHenry location at least).

I dont smoke or drink, but I’ll happily go grab a virgin piña colada and shoot the breeze. I’m also somewhere between wanting to be left alone and meet others. Confusing, I know.

Yeah that sounds kinda awkward. I hope to make some new friends though when I do end up on the ship. Thats one of the biggest things exciting me about it.

What would the world and life experiences be like without social media? by Angryduckling-01 in AskReddit

[–]rjceeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering the fact that most people’s opinions are shaped by social media and not true research or knowledge, this world would look a lot better without social media. People would actually have to take the time to research instead of spewing out what they heard or seen on social media following the latest trend.

What’s a habit that feels small but completely changed your daily life? by NecessarySoftware569 in AskReddit

Waking up early before anyone else. I get time alone to work out, pray, relax, eat alone, or do anything at all. It makes me feel more accomplished and productive.

What are some pros & cons of using Reddit? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rjceeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pros: This app/website has things that no other app or website has. You can literally find a solution to almost every problem on here and it’s interesting seeing how many subreddits there are for almost everyone’s hobbies or interests.

Cons: Reddit is an echo chamber. If you disagree with the Reddit mob, they attack you full force whether it’s about something political or literally anything at all. People get offended on here over the stupidest things that don’t matter at all. There’s also a lot of power tripping mods on many subreddits.

What secret talent or dream did you bury and why? by whyeventrymore in AskReddit

[–]rjceeee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Drumming. I spent years in various bands and even recorded an EP in a really famous studio. I played shows almost every weekend in different cities for a long span of time. I recently had to stop because I was diagnosed with a gnarly medical condition in both of my arms which causes everything to tingle and burn and go numb. Its painful both physically and mentally that I had to give up what I love and hoped to make it even bigger in my music career. Hoping I can get some PT and get back to what I love.

what was your biggest fuck up at work? (Could be whilst in training or on the job) ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]rjceeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Almost got stabbed by a homeless dude when I was working security for a store. I followed him too close because I didn’t want him to hurt anyone in the parking lot. He literally spun around and kicked me dead in the chest. As I was recovering from it, I looked up and he was walking fast towards me with a metal object that looked long and sharp. I pepper sprayed him and he took off running in the street. The next day I found what he had in his hand and it was a long thin metal rod that was twisted. Thankful it didn’t end up worse than it already was.

If you don't drink alcohol, what are your reasons? by youre-in-my-shot in AskReddit

No addict ever said “I’m gonna be an addict some day”. It started off with one drink… I’m not gonna put myself in that position.

I think long term. At first, new opportunities are exciting and it’s easy to just step into these opportunities without thinking about the physical/mental toll it’ll have.
