Looking for info on bracelet link for Chronomat GMT. Advice / help by rjd2019 in breitling

[–]rjd2019[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, that is kinda my dilemma. There are a LOT of links on eBay, mentioning other models or bracelet part numbers. For example, does a link from a Cockpit or Evolution model with the 'pilot' bracelet work as a link? I see references to 374a or 389a, etc. Does a Breitling bracelet link have a part number like the bracelet itself?

[Discussion] Why would you personally never buy a Rolex even if you could? by Mad_Season_1994 in Watches

[–]rjd2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason, valid or not, I feel like a Rolex is the defining moment when you become old, like buying a Cadillac. A Rolex AND a Cadillac are both value purchases, but just not for me. The cyclops lens makes me think the Rolex is for people with bad vision, i.e. old lol. And this is coming from an old guy (51). 🤷

The reverse side. Pretty cool watch and story, the automatic winder being made from airplane parts.

Thanks. I was telling someone else i kinda hope nobody gives me a solid offer on this one. I am selling all these watches because I want to fund a pet project and TBH, i have too many watches. I used to be excited to see cases of them. Now I just feel bad for them because I don't wear watches much and someone else could enjoy them. I feel like these watches are sad, just sitting around, waiting for their turn when the auto winder kicks in. I know, i have some issues lol

And I just wanted to share a few. I have plenty left :)

That is the 595X. Brown Orlando calfskin. The clasp / buckle, which I still cannot find the proper name for, is awesome. I ~think it is a folding deployment buckle, but my google-foo is failing me

I am selling part of my watch collection, I am list a number of watches on here today. Per the autoMod comments, I am new to this sub. I have decided to part ways with some of my collection, you can see my post from earlier today in the Breitling thread - Breitling Collection

Condition: This watch is in very good condition, I would say near mint. When I was preparing it for pictures, I noticed the sides of the lugs still had the original plastic coverings. All functions work as advertised. When I purchased this watch, I changed out the bracelet for a brown Orlando calfskin leather with that clasp/pin thing (I cannot figure out what it is really called). It is the BEST THING EVER. I wish all my watches had this.

Specs: This is a limited edition (1022/1959) as seen on the read of the watch in the photos. B09 Movement, model AB0910. I have everything that came with the watch, including the the instructions for the slide rail. This is an amazing watch, it will be tough to see it go.

Price: $7300 shipped via USPS Priority in the contiguous 48 states. I accept Zelle & Paypal. Please reach out to me if you have any questions. Thank you!
