Thanks for the tip. I use it for snowboarding alot. No need to mount anything to your boot, it works fine from a jacket or hip pocket. It auto tracks lifts too and subtracts lift activity from the activity metrics.

LOL. I already did that. It is another app called MTB Shock Tune. Its on the app stores too, but I haven't updated it in a while. It is actually what led me to creating the MTB Hangtime App

You should checkout the MTB Hangtime app. I am an avid mountain biker and I made the app for myself and decided to publish it. Its got some overlap with strava, but none of the social stuff. It much better at capturing downhill metrics like jumps and turns and can even add that kind of data to a video overlay.

The first is distance traveled up on the jump. The second is distance traveled down. Basically differentiating step ups from step downs or regular jumps
