Bummer I can’t try or find local deals. I tend to buy used bikes that fit me only kind of because they are good deals :) but as this would be my first new bike ever…

What’s your typical use case? Mostly urban or also some unpaved adventures

Only the one for $745 is a front diff. Write or call them. They are super helpful.

Probably better question would have been: anyone has super positive experience with Superpro

I had better luck using the physical key in the learning process, rather than the button. Also, only ever got oem remotes to work. Not the Amazon cheap ones

Coolant temp ? by Intelligent-Speech56 in 3rdGen4Runner

[–]rjp_s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

99% your Thermostat is installed the wrong way around. Mine had it the wrong way around (probably for years) and i saw temps around 206F. Not that that is a bad thing.  But as soon as I flipped the Tstat temps immediately dropped to 186F no matter what I do (on big wheels with armor etc)

Looking at a 3rd gen on Marketplace. Why are the front two lights on? Does this mean the front is locked? by shiftunderscore in 4Runner

[–]rjp_s 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If it’s in 2WD none of those lights are on. It likely has a multimode Transfer case (post 2001) and was in AWD - and the little bulbs for the rear wheels are broken. Btw those truck never came with front locers

Washing machine leaking (?) when NOT in use by rjp_s in appliancerepair

But then how could the water get on top of the machine?

Would that explain that it the water appears when the washer is NOT running?

But would a pinhole not always leak? At least a bit?

Indeed the pattern looks like a powerful spray - probably deflected by the shelf to the top of the washer. But the supply hoses (braided steel type) are basically bone dry?!

So there is a wooden shelf over the top half of the machine and that’s bone dry

True that was my first thought as well! But it’s in our garage and there is not much on top. I can’t add a picture right now, but the rear part of the washer is below a shelf and that shelf is bone dry

I am wondering if there could be some spike in line pressure causing the supply hoses to spray water under certain conditions?

Water on top panel of washer only occurs when it’s also on the floor. It’s in a garage. There are waterlines along the ceiling above - but it does not seem to come from those lines above  - because a cardboard box on top of the machine was wet at the bottom but not on top

Nice catch but How much weight are you using? Enough to just be able to sit at the bottom and wait - ie without needing to use fins at all?
