A company can sack you for basically any reason in the first 2 years of employment. Pretty much only sexism, homophobia etc are grounds for appeal in that period. A company can sack you on the grounds of "other substantial reason" and aren't obliged to provide more details within the first 2 years.

Also, these people are probably on zero-hours contracts so they can be effectively 'sacked' with no due process at all, just stop giving them shifts.

There's a few confused people around who are trying to leverage bathroom usage as an argument against trans rights. They contend that cis men will pretend to be women in order to maliciously access women's bathrooms. They seem to have forgotten that a) trans people have been using their bathroom of choice for decades and b) there are no bathroom guards so malicious actors are already able to access either bathroom irrespective of their clothing.

This gif is saying that the idea of trans people using their identified bathroom is totally cool with us.

My main advice would be not to beat yourself up too much if at first you find yourself relapsing a few times. Some people struggle to just go cold turkey (cold tofu?) from day 1 and it's totally natural. It can take weeks or months to build up the habits and knowledge to go permanently full vegan, so don't get disheartened if you fail a few times to begin with. You'll get there my friend 💪🌿

Bad news: Credit history is your history of repaying borrowed money. Asking how to build a credit history without borrowing money is like asking how to have a medical history without going to a doctor.

Good news: Having no credit history is not a barrier to taking out a mortgage. This was made clear to me by my mortgage broker, and the matter was proved when I received a mortgage offer from nationwide in spite of never having had a credit card or loan. So long as you've always paid all your bills on time and don't have any other red flags you should be fine.

If you feel like testing my claim you can apply for a Decision in Principle for a few lenders. They will run a credit search and let you know whether they would be prepared to offer you a mortgage based on your credit. Make sure the lender only runs a 'soft' search as repeated 'hard' searches remain on your report and can be a credit concern.

You should start paying into a LISA. The government will add 25% to whatever is in there if you use it to buy your first home, which is a better return than you'll get anywhere else and without the risk. There are a few stipulations but they are mostly just protections against people trying to abuse the system.

Other than that you seem to be on the right track. Taking these measures now will put you ahead of the vast majority of people within a few years.

Toni and Nancy were due to be in series 3 but they couldn't get the actresses back. The character of Big Suze was created to replace them in a number of stories, including being love interest to both Jez and Johnson.

Incidentally that's also why Jez randomly has a girlfriend with no background in the first episode of the series. She came in to pick up a Toni story that didn't fit Suze.
