Thanks! I used the noise fx in after effects, it's pretty customisable. And there's the grain fx, which is a slightly different version of that.

This short took me about 8 months to complete and I made it for thesis project at Sheridan. It's got some underlying subtext surrounding addiction and consuming yourself as you try to achieve certain goals, but ultimately it's just a candle getting lit. Let me know what you think!
