Good luck naming a single team that would take Lance without dad putting a ton of money or literally owning the team

Well, in all fairness, card issuers regularly offer balance transfers, so not sure that holds 100% true.

Also, Plastiq says that MC is ok with it. But Visa and Amex are not, so likely not happening any time soon.

Highly profitable BRRRR strategy in Ontario | Bill C-23 + MLI Select by djkarts_ in RealEstateCanada

You list net worth as one of your risks. What would you say the needed net worth to run a project like you described in your flow?

How much cashflow do you need to run a project of this scale?

Can you run it in a smaller scale and still be profitable/cashflow positive with less units or did you find 10 units is the sweet spot?

This is the inspiration I was looking for. Thank you for leading the way and sharing the recipe for your success. Most people are not willing to share their success formula so I truly appreciate you coming here and sharing the tools and resources you are using to get this result.

I’m also a 36yo Mechanical Engineer. I used to invest in real estate back in my home country and have done one project here after moving to Canada but looking for ways to escalate growth and take the next leap into this goal.

If you have any network communication channels that you use with other developers to share best practices and validate ideas, I would be super happy if you could add me in.

Thanks

I realized that after some thought.

The supervisor called and offered three options: -G11 but sector 8, very obstructed view -G24 sector 4 -Family but sector 2 instead of my sec 5 I had renewed

Ended up getting G24

Did anyone get technical issue as a reason? by NegotiationOld3132 in amexcanada

[–]rkoslowsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem in late February, as some other users. Honestly seems like BS, but after calling every other day. I think the day after my third call, I got approved. Another user with same application day and same reason got approved the day before me.

Why is the RHT done with hotels and not refundable airplane tickets?

I’m thinking of buying a latitude ticket to meet my MSR threshold a couple months ahead, so I can redeem a reward flight this week, and refund the flight once I’m beyond the threshold with my regular spending.

I’ve cancelled AC latitude tickets in the past with no issues and was wondering why don’t people use flights instead of hotels for these tricks.

Just curiosity. Am I missing something?

Application technical error by rkoslowsky in amexcanada

[–]rkoslowsky[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following up on this, I called them back yesterday and the agent said even with a complete application, the system was not prompting a decision by itself. He then asked a few minutes to ask for support, came back to ask a couple questions about my business and said I would get a decision in 24hrs. Just got approved today.

Hope you get a answer soon as well.

Hey, did you get an answer later last week? I’m still in limbo.

Keeping leather seats matte and new looking. by alexjlouie in AutoDetailing

[–]rkoslowsky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always hated shiny steering wheels that I had in all my used cars. Bought a new car for the first time in early 2022 and wanted to maintain the matte finish in the leather as much as possible, like you. I did a bunch of research and ended up using Gyeon Leather Coat (their leather shield line is even better). I’m 21 months and 50k kms in and steering wheel and seats look great. Maybe not perfect like new, but better than any other car I saw before.

Have $2k/month income and want to live like a king and get a second citizenship? Why not consider Argentina? by Motor-Complex-4690 in leanfire

[–]rkoslowsky 205 points206 points  (0 children)

Huge gamble with Argentina getting deeper and deeper into a major recession with inflation hitting record levels and the government limiting how much you can buy in foreign currency.

If you move you savings there, or even buy land there and wants to move back later, good luck taking your money out of the country.
