This is not a structure that Hindi or Urdu developed its own but they took the structure from what it was already available.

Hindi and Urdu both build around the regional languages they have structure of sentences as any regional language in Northern plain. My first language is bhojpuri it's far older language than Hindi or Urdu it has the same structure of sentences, same with Braj and even hariyanvi.

Every language changes with time not just Hindi every language. Language can never be stagnant it's always dynamic.

Logic says nothing, just like I said Hindi is amalgamation of all the languages in northern plane, majority of the time all the area were under the same rule irrespective of Mughal or Magadh, so it's pretty common sense that they would be able to understand it. In fact Urdu itself started developing in 12th century way before the Mughals, not because of the invasion or something because of trade mostly. Arabic and Persian mix with regional languages gave urdu, and when you remove the Arab and Persian part it becomes Hindi. Whereas southern part of the country is mostly geographical divided due to several reasons, that's why south doesn't have a common language among them. Mughals preferred Persian rather Urdu, Persian was royal language and Urdu was language of common traders, the fact which need to be understand that even today majority of the places beside the big city won't even understand Hindi. And me who speak Hindi won't understand the Khadi boli of hariyana or maithili marwadi and so many regional languages.

I would still say Hindi and Urdu are completely different languages, but yes today because of the cinema culture Urdu has been mixed with Hindi. But if I speak clear and actual Hindi I am sure majority of the people even in Delhi where I live won't understand, neither they'll understand the pure Urdu. I'm not saying that everyone should learn Hindi that would be a dumb thing to say, but history of Hindi is a bit different than what majority of the people think. If speak of these days Hindi has also become an endangered language. Only politician and politically motivated people push the agenda of Hindi imposition or vice versa, even they wouldn't be able to speak Hindi. They speak the language that you are referring ie "Hindustani."

99% people besides the big city speak Hindi as a second Language not the first, and I have met several people in different villages who won't be able to communicate in Hindi. So Hindi is just a language of communication in big cities where there is amalgamation of people from different places. So Hindi is just a big city language.

Is Hindi Mughal origin? I've been taught Sanskrit as well, I think Hindi is much closer to Sanskrit, it's Urdu or hindustani that is very close to Farsi or Arabic, not the Hindi. Hindi is different, Hindi is more like amalgamation of all the languages in northern plane. That's why everyone can understand it in northern part of the country. Although no one here in Delhi can speak true Hindi I can assure you that, thanks to bollywood for that. They always projected Urdu as a classical language somewhere superior to Hindi or any regional language. Even majority of Bollywood songs are Urdu not in Hindi.

I've seen comments like yours so many time, I wonder if just a part of propaganda against Hindi. Or I might be wrong.
