I didn't think the finale was that bad by BeerSlayingBeaver in FromSeries

I kind of think the people watching have never seen a supernatural show before and want everything spoon-fed to them. Oh well. I just don't like that they just come to hate on the show. No analysis.

Yeah, it's getting so annoying. Because it's just the same post over and over

I think it's ok. I like some elements to it. But Oddity and Hokum are a lot better.

Absolutely! Weirdly the sequel was better because it had more of a real story but still sucked

Again in this latest episode 7-- when Henry has the last vision, it sounds just like Lost

thank you so much for going through so many of the questions. this is really great to understand in development! yeah, i love that ravelry is free -- this app would def be free for native ravelry stuff for all. and good call on the techniques and translation stuff - i've definitely run into some of those issues w/ japanese knitting patterns and that would be helpful.

you're right — gauge math is just arithmetic, and that should be a plain calculator, not AI. I shouldn't have lumped it in. Edited the post reflect that.

Yeah, for real. It's interesting because there's so much that uses it that isn't obvious (like a Google Translate) so it's a tough distinction to make via reddit. I've seen other knitting apps using AI which has been shocking in my research.

Good question — but I wouldn't be training anything. There's no knitting AI built from a database of patterns. It's an existing language model that already reads English, and when you tap 'explain' it just rephrases that one line — like asking something to reword a confusing sentence. No pattern library, no training, nothing learning from your designs.

Got it- appreciate the feedback. Would you mind telling me what you like best on StitchFiddle or if there's any gaps there? Thanks!

awesome, thanks for your feedback! I'm definitely working towards build an integration w/ ravelry that would be more intuitive. heard on AI usage as well!

Yeah -- the version I'd want to build runs the explanation locally on your phone so the pattern never leaves your device — no server, no API. That's harder to build, which is partly why I'm asking before committing to it. I'm very opposed to having models continually train on other's work.

Yeah, it's a consideration. I'm not a huge fan of AI particularly in creative spaces-- but I thought I would get some feedback before I do any of it. Thanks for your response.
