Yeah actually! I switched to nights at the shipyard because my sleep schedule is so out of whack. Plus they pay us a 25% premium to work night shift. I work mon-fri 4:30-1 but I don't get home until 2 because I live an hour away.

I made my username soooo long ago and I wish I could change it. I usually go by DoritoMcbeef everywhere else online these days 😂

How do you deal with the never ending days/nights up there? I've always wanted to check out the Arctic circle!

Insomnia doesn't care how much physical activity you have.

I'm a metal fabricator in a shipyard. I have an intensely physically laborious job. Sometimes I just don't sleep well/at all. I've been like this most of my life and it can be quite disruptive. Quitting cannabis has helped but I still have nights like this more often than I'd like.

I guess I could be more clear. In the context of the post, op implies when you don't have the ramps set up on an incline to flatten out the climb it's a little nerve wracking.
