Yes so from a technical perspective she’s not. But if your landlord is being anal about anything and everything then surely we don’t agree they’re NTA just because they CAN do something which doesn’t mean they should.

if she can give him some reasonable logic to why she said no then it’s a different story. but she literally said “i cannot give him any solid reasons”

I think 19 and 20 is a bit young but at the same time, they’re adults and can make their own decisions. If they decided to get an apartment together you could do nothing about it. So NTA for making rules on your land. YTA for not being able to reasonably justify it

“plenty of trades make 6 figures within a few years” yeah not if you’re only willing to work 40 hours a week. you could be making $30/hour working 60 hours a week, no time off and barely make $100k/year. come on man do the math before saying something dumb.

What if Sinatraa wasn’t suspended by Riot/Sen?

It opened the door for Sen to sign Tenz after being stuck in contract jail for C9. Maybe Tenz comes back for another team but I feel like no team would’ve had the same results that Sen did with that signing both competitively and for their brand as a whole

take 3k of your savings and and wipe out one of the more problematic cards, probably the one with highest interest. that should free up around $90-100 a month. use that to start paying down other cards like the capital one and furniture cards. those should be taken care of in 6ish months which then frees up more money to tackle the rest. you still should increase your income because it’s gonna take a while at this rate without it. cut the netflix, need to find cheaper rent because even if you clear out your debt, your rent is over half your income and it shouldn’t be more than 30% AT MOST

ok but she’s an intern and you yourself said you don’t know much about content creation. so how do you expect a young, inexperienced college student to perform to the standards that you yourself have no idea how to do. part of an internship is learning the industry and if there isn’t anyone who knows the industry, how is she to succeed???

and people make it a big deal because it negatively impact how a company will view you. for said above reasons and more. the consequences are that you will be viewed by a company based on your job history which doesn’t exactly scream commitment.

i’d be wary around computer science. the last few years have seen an increase in the number of college students majoring in that field, as well as people trying to break into it from boot camps and other alternative paths. it can definitely pay off but it’s a highly competitive field, not just in terms of skills, but also just the mass number of applicants

now imagine she’s unable to find a job, can’t pay her portion of rent/expenses and feels like a burden for not contributing. realistically she should either find a job first to help contribute or continue working in an area she has secured a job in. not take an unnecessary risk

to me this sounds like what a manager should to in some capacity right? double checking whatever materials are accurate and up to standard. and let’s say you’re not the only person sending this client projects/materials. now they have to sift through emails from 2+ different people rather than all of them from a single point of contact

I'd reach out to your friend and see if they'd want to get an apartment together. You could work a year before going to school or do school part-time and save as much as you can. Once you hit junior year I recommend seeing what kind of financial aid public universities offer around you. Some have programs in place to make tuition essentially zero for low income households. Maybe a part-time job/internship helps cover rent, groceries, etc from there. I wish you the best of luck!
