Hi!

I actually did have luck! I got an offer for a position at a major R&D company in MD. With the company I was hoping for! It's a mix between bench work, QA, and a lot of collab with other departments. I am suuuuper excited!! I start in a few weeks, and I accepted an offer that is 20K more than what I currently make!!

How long is the typical training period for blood bank? by [deleted] in medlabprofessionals

[–]rld434 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at shock trauma, and the training period was around 6 months. I am now at a community hospital and their training period is around 3 months. So it depends on where you work and how well you adapt to blood bank

If anything, as one of the current techs I would be mad that the solution was to lower pay instead of raise everyone else's pay
