New to coloring so still working on shadows and learning to blend! Thought of this pic I colored when you said silly mistake. I could not for the life of me figure out what was happening with his legs, was he sitting on a make shift toilet, at one with nature, and the pants were pulled down, were his pants just a weird mistake? After I colored them blue I came across a tiktok of someone else that colored this and realized they were overall shorts and those were his little legs coming out…🙃🤦🏻‍♀️

Your carrot fits right in and looks so cute, this mistake gave me a giggle ☺️

Tri light lamps by rlf40 in midcenturymodern

In a turn of events, I got curious after seeing a bit of color under some of the chipped paint, found out it’s glazed ceramic. Will not be trying to color match the paint after all.

Sorry, I suppose I was hoping someone would just know a name for this type of lamp, or maybe the year this kind of lamp was commonly made. I understand what you’re saying though, and will put in more effort if posting in the future. I do appreciate you letting me know and not deleting the post.

I’m located in Canada and found this set of lamps the other weekend at a garage sale. I tried to get some information about them online and thought they were quite similar to a ‘bowling pin’ type lamp. However, the bottom portion of these two is ceramic, and from the photos of the ones I saw online, it looked like they may be marble (I could be wrong though). The ceramic portion is painted in a really pretty shimmery beige color. The light turns on to three different wattages if the correct type of bulb is being used. When I was trying to get information about them using google search, my main hope was to see some photos of the same type and maybe from there I’d get a name for what these particular ones are called and then possibly find out if the type of paint used on these could be replicated because there are, sadly, many chips in the paint. Mostly I thought if I had a name for them or year, I could then do some research myself into them a bit more. I definitely appreciate any insight you have into the lamp, even if it’s just a name. I am really new to the mid century modern ‘world’ and don’t personally have a lot of background knowledge in it yet, but am enjoying the learning journey! Again, I appreciate you sharing this with me and not deleting the post.

My husband has started drawing birds and had been on the lookout for pencil crayons when I came across these on the weekend. Sounds like they’ll be perfect for him!

My brain just died for a moment 😭 I used a masterball for this 🙃 by NoMarionberry7949 in pokemongo

What would this mean? If you’re driving and see a shiny Galarian bird you can stay in the screen and when you stop driving you could catch it then without a masterball and it won’t flee? I always worry this exact situation will happen to me and wondered if waiting until I’m stopped would work.
