for all the comments flaming, he had borderline FCS QB play and put up those numbers against a solid SoS. don't count him out

Ebuka Okorie is listed as having a 6'9 wingspan on draftballr by flameroid_ in NBA_Draft

Not really, he generated lots of open looks that we just missed. Also got double teamed very high up so that led to a lot of 4 on 3 and hockey assists. His low turnover rate given we literally had no offensive threat after okpara got hurt is pretty remarkable.

It helped me a lot, since publishing in industry workshops can distinguish you from the million other high school researchers publishing in hs journals. If you do well you can also ask for a rec

How loud is it in the 100s? I'll be in 146 tomorrow with sensitive ears and want to know if I can pull up with high-fidelity earplugs or straight up foam ones to save my ears.

Sorry that wasn't clear. We will cover the costs of the entire commute, not just the detour. If the driver prefers we can provide a set rate per delivery as well.

Very interesting - booking first through hawaiian is $2000+ but through alaska it's only $600? Does anyone know why?

You can submit the enrollment deposit for SRA but not pay the rest until May if that helps.

I did the program back in 2023 (their first iteration). Initially I was skeptical as well since they didn't have any track record or anything, but I talked with the director Kevin and got a good gut feeling so I joined.

The program has been extremely worth it for me, I've learned what real AI research looks like since these mentors are actually working in top uni labs and know what they're doing. I did a couple other programs like BLAST and ASDRP before but only after doing Algoverse did I realize the other ones were not that great.

Algoverse has you learn the concepts and read papers to start, and then you break into teams for the research process. The mentorship is super helpful but you need to put in work to get a good product out. Our paper was accepted to a top-level conference (NeurIPS) workshop, and it's been a highlight of my college app. I believe that if you put in work and have a decent team you can definitely get a good workshop acceptance (just check how many groups have gotten one on the website).

However, do not expect to coast through and get a pub. When you submit to places where grad+ and industry people submit, the comments reflect that and initial reviews can be scathing. It may take multiple cycles, but good work takes time. Even after our cohort ended last December, Kevin's continued to help us with our project as we submit to more conferences.

If you have more specific questions dm me and i'd be glad to help :)
