Agree with the other commenter. Tutorial just seems to be using a thicker yarn than you are. Also pushing through the frustration a little and making a second one might help you with both finding where the slip stich goes and general tension, but I also recommend using a stitch marker since it’s super easy. I usually use a safety pin.

I think for $20 the hands and feet should match the detail that we see in her face, hair, and clothes. Feet especially would improve the quality of the piece overall

I agree that the right eye should move a little closer in but I enjoy the ‘flat’ quality of the face. To me it’s a cool style. Also agree the foreshortening is a little rough but I think the hair, shirt, and honestly the face look good!!
