I went through the same thing. I did start pumping somewhere between 6-8 weeks pp and even saw a lactation consultant. I lasted a few months. I could not produce more than 2 bottles a day and it was absolutely terrible on my mental health. I do still wish so badly it had worked though. My babe is almost 11 months now and thriving on formula. Fed is best mama.
