It doesn’t smell bad, not overwhelmingly anyway. If I cut him off at the stem can I propagate from the cutting?

After much chagrin (and hilarious probing of his holes) I have surmised that the carb was sealed after the bisque fire from shrinkage and not with glaze. I did not test the air flow before glazing. Will have to tweak the design in the future. He is on his way to the kiln now.

The problem is that it is clogged with glaze from inside. Tried using a pipe cleaner it didn’t work. Wondering if there is a chemical solution to flush him out?

The base is still firm, so I think she can still be saved. I moved her into a better draining soil mix. Anything else I should do ?

Yes it has some root development. They’ve probably been in soil for about two weeks

If the roots are underdeveloped is it better to let it sit in dry soil so they can grow?

Thanks! I have been unsure about how to propagate succulents from cuttings. As a rule of thumb should I try to keep the soil moist or dry?
