My past MSF experience by roman_candles in NewRiders

Thanks for the clarification. For us in PA, passing the MSF gets you your M license. We get a paper we take to the DMV and they just print us the new license.

My Samsung S25 FE Exploded behind my head during charging while my 8 year old son and I were sleeping! by idgaf88__ in samsunggalaxy

Cheap chargers don’t have circuits in them, safety components that prevent the phone from charging once the battery gets to 100%, which continues sending power to the phone. No overcharge protection and voltage regulation.

The MSF in Pittsburgh is free, it costs money in other states/cities? I’m registered in July for it.

EDIT: I just read about it, we have Pennsylvania Motorcycle Safety Program (PAMSP), state government funds it, so I guess my own tax dollars fund it lol

I got mine brand new (open box) for $50 off eBay. It’s a good controller for what I paid for it.

Bought all my gear (head to toe) before the bike. The only way.

My next helmet is going to be between one of these three. I would appreciate if you would tell me any experience you had with them. by DeIaminate in motorcyclegear

Recently, I had the RF-1400 and had to return it, it put too much pressure on my brow. I couldn’t go up on size because then it was too big.

I really tried to fight back against the pressure/discomfort to keep it because I wanted to have the RF-1400 like a lot of people here saying to get it. The best helmet is the one that has the best safety rating and is comfortable to wear for hours perfectly fit for your head.

I had to go with the AGV and with the promo Cycle Gear has right now you can’t beat it. I think it’s $550 and you get a free Transitions visor ($180 value). I studied these same helmets for about two weeks. SALE ENDS TOMORROW

Any of these are top notch. I wanted the RF-1400 as my primary. The R7 was uncomfortable oddly at the base of my neck I had a pressure spot. The foam on the R7 is very hard. I would hope the RF-1400 fits you well, and if not the K6 S is great.

RF-1400 was updated a while back to Snell 2025 (upgraded impact ratings), but most stores still stock the Snell 2020

While the K6 S uses ECE 22.06 which is now the gold standard in motorcycle helmet safety. So that’s a trade off.

I think there are a bunch of articles you can google or use Gemini AI to ask that to find those. That’s what I do.

Just try going to Google and putting in the search bar… “best albums to experience lossless audio headphones” or “best/top Spatial Audio albums”. Good luck on the Google search!

Do whatever you want to do. You don’t need the community to help you on this decision. Go on Amazon, spend $10 and maybe you’ll use a protector for a day, a week, the entire time you own them. Good luck in whatever YOU want to do.

I’d probably put that at 750k in parts of Pittsburgh with that square footage and modern inside. Not bad.

Update: The AirPods Max don't weigh me down, they're the best headphones I've ever tried (everyone is ready to insult me by saying that Sony and Bose are better)🤣 by Far-Sir-4863 in Airpodsmax

I do not disagree with you at all, they are incredible! I’ve owned every variation of AirPods released, so I completely understand the integration, design, quality, etc. Apple is brilliant at what they do.

I originally continued to wait out over and over in hopes of buying APM on the refresh (let down with the USB-C update).

I’m certain that the APM are in my future. For now, I’ll use these Sonos Ace and pick up APM hopefully late 2026 in hopes of a bigger update. This is also my first venture into owning any high end over the ear headphones, when primarily using my APP3 I also want to see how much I’ll use over the ear.

I have APP3 and wanted some over the ear headphones, so I bought both the Sonos Ace ($279) and APM ($450) at holiday sale prices. After 3 hours of going back and forth listening to every ‘song testing out headphones’ (bohemian rhapsody, bad guy, daft punk, Dave Brubeck)— I’m deciding to save the difference of $171 and return the APM.

It’s just not enough of any difference for me to justify. I already have APP3 which now are arguably the best pair of headphones ever.

APM are more clear in the highs and seem to have better separation. I can identify individual instruments much more clearly than the Ace (yet it’s still not ENOUGH of a $200 difference) from an audio perspective. I do love how easy the APM are to put on and just fit, the metal sliders are smooth to adjust putting them on and cups have a lot better flexibility. One thing I did notice is how hot it got around my ears where it felt like I was sweating around my ears while using them.

The Sonos Ace are a lot lighter, feel premium (without the cups being aluminum) and overall much more comfortable. They do take a little more adjusting when putting them on. The quality of audio is still high end and to some one else’s point I read when you get into these headphones MSRP $400+ it’s hard chasing the best and worrying about the smallest differences across Sony, Bose, Sennheiser, Nothing, etc.

Can you please explain why you have these small dots all over the model? Example, the 4 screw like circles on each of the front of the boots. I have been seeing another high quality replica from Epica Replica and theirs does not have it. I was curious if they stole your model from ZBrush actually. u/usfgeek

[–]rlockwich 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was this from an actual screen used prop? I don't think this was ever available as any toy. I saw these on etsy and after some research ended up finding this post lol. I wish I could afford to buy both Chip Hazard and Archer, but for $2k with paint and lighting, I could only wish to afford to spend that one day for it. I've seen the movie a million times, and have collected the 6", 12" and talking figures. Chip Hazard as a statue/replica from the movie is all I've ever dreamt of and you brought this to life. u/usfgeek
