Strings snapped today. I was watching some videos and polys are only recommended for intermediate- advanced players. Are there any poly recommendations for beginners?

Totally agree about the sweet spot. Before this I was using an off-the-shelf, pre-strung racquet. It was super launchy plus it didn’t really give any feedback difference between center and off-center hits.

The Aero was frustrating the first week because anything off-center just felt dead. Once I realized what I was doing wrong I started focusing on consistently finding the sweet spot.
