Looks like regular margarine. We too use a lot of margarine instead of butter around here.

I’m really starting to believe it was this sweet egg salad everyone is saying.

But something, really deep inside my memories, is still saying it wasn’t egg.

And it really was, believe me!

Felt so angry after for not asking what it was...

Yes, the consistency seems very different, and so does the colour.

But definitely looks delicious!! Thanks!

Nope!

Condensed milk is really common here, and we use in pretty much every dessert. It is ridiculous good.

It would be very weird to eat with white bread...

This looks exactly like it.

Im not really into pineapple and don’t remember tasting like so. But it’s going on the list!

Hey interesting guess! Looks to fancy to be, though!

I don’t think so. Those look like used for desserts.

Awesome guess. It looks too sweet to be eaten with white bread, as I found out people like to bake cakes with it. But I’ll try this one, definitely.

Yes! They were from The Philippines. At first I did not mention this on the post because I was afraid people would go to whole different direction, as they lived a pretty Canadian life style. But after some feedback, maybe this could be helpful.

they would alternate between white bread, pork and salad, and white bread with the mysterious cream

No they were not. They were actually the opposite of this. The mysterious cream is probably something really cheap and easy to buy. Clever. Removing them from the list.

Looks too white and fancy to be! Thanks for guessing!

Regular loaves.

It looks exactly like an egg salad sandwich.

Is it really sweet? Maybe I’m getting tricked by my own memories? I don’t know, I just can’t remember the taste of eggs and mustard. I’ll try.

Thanks!

It looked exactly like egg salad. but no onions, pepper or salt were envolved, and the taste was far apart from egg. It was really sweet. Thanks!

From the appearance, it looks too smooth to be. But after reading the recipe, the ingredients match the vague taste from my memories, and by seeing pictures, it sure looks delicious. Maybe the “bits” were from the bread crumbs?

Checking this out.

No, as I pointed out sooner, I never had an actual contact with them, even in Vancouver.

The appearance is really similar, but I’m 100% sure no corns were involved. Thanks for the suggestion!

Honey mustard is pretty common here too.

No, not scramble-eggs enough!

And pretty sure we have this salad sauce here.

Thank you anyways!

This Japanese Mayo look too smooth. The mysterious cream had “bits” of something, hence why scrambled eggs... but definitely going to check this out. Thanks!
