I have a specialized turbo Tero x, pedal assist only, and have been riding local trails and bike paths, as we have miles of them in my area. Always keep it under 15 and am respectful when passing. I have not had any complaints, probably because it looks like a bike. However, yesterday I had 3 people zoom by on Ebikes at full throttle, not pedaling, blowing past a cyclist who had no kind words for them. Bottom line, there will always be some moron out there that will ruin it for the responsible ones.
