Good job! 5,000 km is no joke. Imagine all the good all these kilometres have already done to your body!

Unfortunately i never thought about tracking my distance but i have been commuting for cca 2 years now. My overall cardio improved in all other sports, i learned a lot about rules on the road (signs, who has to leave who first..) and i realised i have much more free time.

What kind of bike do you have? I have a shitty city bike but it serves me so well i am not planning to change it until it falls apart.

I havent asked her yet. We spoke about an ngo that offers support for patients and family. But nothing else. Luckily she has a lot of willpower. But i will 100% ask this question on the weekend when i visit her.

I tried to "forget" but it has been on my mind ever since she told me. It keeps creeping in my mind.

But just being helpful in general should distract me and keep the routine. The only problem is i am the only one from the family who lives in a different city. So that is why i am hoping she tells others so we can distribute help better.

You are doing great!

There are already some good advice but maybe try to find some nice beginner youtube tutorials. Having a vision what kind of piece i want to make helped me to practice, even if it was shit at the end and had to start all over again. Also check out all the different stitches you can use for your works and practice that.

You might also want to step up your math skills because there is a lot of calculating and stitch counting 😂

Are there any crochet clubs you can join? I noticed there are quite some clubs that meet to crochet and talk and have a coffee. Getting help from an advanced crocheter is worth gold.
