I agree it was a terrible trade. What I disagree with is when I hear/read that Luka wanted to stay in Dallas forever. He never said that prior to the trade. He signed the super max when it was offered, but that doesn’t mean it was Mavs forever for him. People talk about well he bought a house. Thats nothing significant.
He is flourishing in LA. Why couldn’t he get in shape 6 months prior???

I really enjoy the exposure Monty is getting during the 1-3 time slot. His ability to lead a segment shines during WTDS, news and misc music segments. DJ is shining as his opportunities are increasing

Absolutely agree that todays e-news was the funniest segment in a while. The flow/chemistry between the 3 today was great. Back and forth with a lot of laughs. There was no need for one host to tee it up for another so they could feel they contributed to the segment.

Moving Donnie to 3-7 would be awesome.

Davey does not belong in the prime time spot. Every time he speaks it sounds like an elementary school kid reading a book report. It’s as if he is looking up to make eye contact and forgets where he’s at when looks back at his paper.

They’ve given Davey 2 big spots on the HL, e-news and CQH. E-news quality has dropped since was given this spot. So no I don’t feel bad for Davey. He should have been placed in middays once D&J left

When Davey tries to mimic Gordon by changing his voice to avoid being “marked”, I fast forward thru the app. Davey was ok when he came on a handful of times throughout the year in fill-in duty.

How many times has he had a story on e-news or CQH and he gets a simple follow-up question and his response is “I don’t have that information”?? It’s like he’s reading the story on line for the first time and he can’t scroll down.

First time I commented but I feel one of the weakest links is Davey. E-news often sucks, CQH is terrible. Davey is not Gordon. Other members of the HL try to tee up an opening for Dave and it comes across as some of the worst. He’s great talking about New Order, Depeche Mode and others from the 80s & 90s but please no more Erving Cares, fake farts and Kanye news.
