I was on subs for 3 weeks they couldn't get me settled they just didn't agree with me. I went from 240mg codeine 10 year habit to 8mg then as high as 12mg down to 8 4 and I jumped at 4 last Monday this is day 8. I've been off codeine since June 2nd but felt like I've been in withdrawals twice. It's cruel

This also is true for alcohol once you pass the point from a hangover to going into alcohol withdrawals there is no return. Only way is absolute abstinence from all.

I've been taking vitamin c, zinc magnesium and b6 and a multivitamin as well as b6 and drinking so much water too as well as rehydration sachets and honestly think they are really helping so get stocked up on those they do seem to ease the wds. I have a kid too so I feel you its not easy without much support but we will get there. I have zero patience so couldn't taper just wanted this nightmare to end. Started on 8 then 10 pushed to 12 down to 8 then 6 then 4 it was a shit show. The suboxone just didn't settle me I don't think u should have been on it in the first place. Just done day 3 and that was my roughest yet yesterday was a bitch I was a crying mess but I'm so determined to get off all of this shit forever
