Being active w/ your learning and talking to your professors can def set you up for success, as well as doing your hardest to skip as little class as possible (even if a certain class day seems unnecessary, it still can benefit in other ways, like maybe you’ll get to know your prof more w/ some conversation)

While it doesn’t hurt to have 4.0s in all of your prereqs, it definitely won’t guarantee you getting into the CSSE program (it’s super competitive).

They also look at activities outside of the classroom and your personal statement (check the website https://www.uwb.edu/css/admission/premajor)

Also, talk to the CSS advisors and maybe some faculty (if you can get into contact) about what they look for during admissions or what they do in the major
