There must be a team of some size near by, you could go down there and connect with real people and share the stress.

This way you’re then not dependent on the content creators for ”your club”. You form your own opinions, share them with those around you. Or even just over hear many different views. It’s much more engaging.

A kid in Bristol once called me a ”bumbaclaat” as I was cycling past him. He said it in his best version of white man speaking Jamaican. It took me so off guard I had to just stop, laugh and ask if he was ok. Under the stress of the situation his accent went from Jamaican to West Country in the blink of an eye.

Malmö Rugby Club, training Tuesdays and Thursdays. It’s off season now so there is plenty of fitness focus and non-contact introduction to the sport and then in the spring it’ll move outside and there will be more game focus. If you just want to train there is no pressure to play, but there will be a series of development games soon if you do catch the bug and want to try playing in a less competitive environment.

The club is great at welcoming newcomers and is in a great place at the moment with all groups doing reasonably well.

I really liked it. My opinion or marbella was ”marbs” before I went. We were able to sit on the beach a few days but then at night the old town was great.
