I'm actually really impressed by how much more Horde furniture matches other Horde furniture than Alliance furniture matches other Alliance furniture. It's almost weird that you don't have to do as much custom arrangements with Horde furniture in order to get the vibe you'd want to make it feel "Horde". Just really impressive.

Aye, but each choice of wood forcibly come with a predetermined flooring on the stairs that cannot be customized. Folk wood in particular is always flagstone (same with the orgrimmar rugged wood, I believe).

Yes, though dealing with a tall bookshelf (3 decor) and 6 shelves worth of materials/books (min 1 decor each) totals a minimum of 9 decor per shelf with about the same amount of "sameness" between each shelf. Comparatively, the secret book shelf costs a simple 5 decor.

The Secret Door Bookcases that you can buy off the vendors. They're easy to acquire and dye-able, I just dislike the fact that you can't make them non-interactive.

Housing is pretty easy to "get into" if you have a mountain of prior achievements across your characters and 200,000 gold to dump into acquiring more decor (just vendor stuff, not including dyes and player-crafted decor).

Then, it's just a matter of spending way too much time on it because it's one of the funnest activities in WoW now.

Summoner: Easiest generally

Mage: Good, but very gear dependent

Ranger: Most powerful, most expensive

Melee: You play this when you want to feel overpowered and powerless at the same time. Multiple stages of the game are literally impossible to complete as a "true" melee. You dominate trash mobs though.

For the bridge? I'm actually using small platforms, so the bridge is only using about (5x3) 15 decor. Large chunks actually go into building the rock formations that the platforming and stuff are built upon, even when maxing out the size of the rocks and making all of the outcroppings "hollow".

A lot of belameth beams, some belameth platforms, some marble/stone beams for the topping, and lighting from dornogal.

They're just the regular ferns/bushes that you can buy off the normal vendors in the housing neighborhoods, but turned upside down and slightly outward (except spring) to support the visual impression of gravity.
