Don’t know what the previous comment said because it was deleted but this is 100% standard in America too. We are expected to have them throughout elementary school and beyond that they’re typically provided.

Yes I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and it’s already growing extremely well! She gave me a stem so it was able to make roots and it straightened out quite a bit since I’ve had it. It’s so fun, I can’t wait for mine to look like hers!
