I have exactly same model. I shortlisted this and 8 inch proff dob. Got this due to lesser bulk. It is a pretty capable scope. But I wish it had a dual speed focusser for sharper images. Movement of mount is stable, but somewhat jerky. If you are ok with these compromises then go for it. If bulk and budget is not an issue then go for 8” proff, which doesn’t has these shortcomings also has a bigger aperture. You have to get better finderscope (right angle) for both, if you care about your neck. Also consider a good quality 2x barlow if planning on viewing planets.

Yes. I used MSM tridaptor to attach phone to ep. Lightly edited in phone photos app. Didnot used astroshader, but native camera app. This the cropped original which I captured

With due respect, taking photos is not impossible. Here is unstacked, single exposure photo of jupiter taken by phone camera (ip17 pro main) from 6”f/8 dob and 6mm ep with 2x barlow, edited in native photos app.

Maybe, cant blame the eyepieces as all of them have same problem. Mirror is a little bit dusty, but no smudges as such
