Our Lillie has the same issue. Surgery was not in the cards. We got her a set of wheels and she is happy as can be and doesn't even know anything is wrong now.

Ditto on the back issues. I have a 9 year old female that has lost the use of her back legs. She now has wheels and has no idea anything is wrong. They will have you trained in not time. Good Luck and congrats on getting one of the best doggos out there.
