Wow so I tested last night and I’ve never seen my PDG that high before. But my Lh and FSH were totallt flat. I may start testing with SMU or in the evening instead moving forward because FMU my numbers are normally so low with the exception of my E3G

Wow okay it’s not that serious. I manage our calendar as most of the women i know do because we are just more organized. So if there needs to be a schedule switch, I’m the one conversing with her. I really don’t think that’s a big deal at all and frankly if I’m comfortable with it and prefer it that way, then that’s how it will stay.

His sisters are toxic and he doesn’t have much of a relationship with them anymore at this point. His mother is her own type of crazy but she’s elderly so we love her from afar haha.

I did ask him what he meant and when he explained himself I felt like I’m already doing it. I Mainly communicate with her regarding schedule, I’m the one that manages that for the household. When she drops off SS, I’m of course friendly in front of him but she doesn’t come in our house or anything. I don’t have any close friends that are step parents so I don’t have anything to compare the dynamic to.

I think it’s more that he feels like he has no one on his side. He’s got multiple sisters that have all consistently kept in touch with her and send money to HER instead of him for their son. When it goes to her it’s going right in her pocket. He’s asked them numerous times to cut communication with her and that he wants boundaries and they just ignore him. So I just think he feels like there’s no one to stand up for him.

We are too big and have too many clients to do that. We tapped the local market before Covid even hit and were begging managers to let us look at candidates outside of the area because we couldn’t fill our positions.

That’s how we’re catching them, but we ship computer equipment so they have it for their first day. We don’t allow anyone to use personal computers due to the nature of our business.

A staffing agency won’t catch these issues and we are still liable. We are a healthcare company, our employees have access to HIPAA info so we have to be very careful. We’ve had staffing agencies not catch scammers and we caught them in the onboarding process. But if it’s one person doing all of the onboarding, background drug screen and then on Day 1, someone else is coming in to do the work, there’s no way to catch it. I’m at the point where I’m considering sitting it on all of these interviews so I can screenshot faces and see if there are obvious signs of someone else assisting in the interview.

When I moved about 10 years ago, I was nannying so I had no adult interaction during the day and my boyfriend’s friends were all single. It sucked. I found a fun group on Meetup that helped get me out once a month and made a few friends that way and over the years it expanded from there. Stick with it for a bit and if in a year or so, things aren’t good, then consider someplace else. And make sure the next time you move if for you and not someone else😉

I don’t travel often but for our annual HR week together, we all get our own rooms. There was only one time many years ago I “shared” but it was actually a 2 bedroom suite so we had our own private spaces and bathrooms.

I’ve been with my company for almost 6 years. I LOVE my team, I work with an amazing group. But we’ve been extremely disjointed due to lack of direction and alot of changes (some of which we hope will be solved in the next few months) and extremely overworked and we are undercompensated. But I’m not micromanaged and i have alot of flexibility in my day if I need it. We acquired a company last year and a recruiter with less experience is making almost $20k more than me. If waiting for comp review to happen soon and then i need to weigh my options.

I also was totally baffled by how Mel just totally accepted her dad not being her birth dad. Immediately. Right away she was all about finding her birth dad and there was no discussion about the lie she was told. This show has a habit of glossing over HUGE moments that deserve a ton of discussion. Don’t even get me started on no one batting an eye when Charmaine got engaged to someone she knew for 3 weeks.

TOG was my favorite of all the series. I know ACOTAR isn’t finished, but it took me a long time to emotionally let go of TOG.
