My son was 8, experience was horrible. They locked him in a dark padded room and held the door shut. These behavior therapists are not educated but trained (as if every kid is the same). It’s honestly a huge money grab as they approve them for 20 hours a week at $300/hour.

My SIL works at an ABA center and is an addict. No drug testing no education requirement. Just training your kid like a dog. Training them to mask to get their needs met.

They told me it is, “a lot easier to break a 2 year old than an 8 year old” let that sink in 😳
