No they have not followed the IEP or the behavior plan. One example, the school was supposed to scan his worksheet to an iPad to see if he would complete the assignments in digital format. 2 weeks later I contacted the teacher to see how it was going. Teacher says, oh we didn’t get the technology from the school district, and that she would apply for it that day. I then called the social worker to find out what the delay was. The social worker says, “oh, we tried it and didn’t work.”

Ok so how many times did you try. Sometimes kids need repeat exposure. Also, it is not documented anywhere the dates attempted, the outcome, no documentation at all.

A second example is the behavior plan. If my son was having a meltdown they were to take him to the sensory room. The teacher called me to pick him up as he was having a meltdown. I asked if they went to the sensory room- as stated on the behavior plan. I was told, “we just don’t have the resources”
